Lake Trasimeno is the fourth largest lake in Italy. It’s of fluvial origin and presumed partly tectonic.

Heart shaped, it covers an area of 128 sq. Km. The water reaches a depth of 6m. and its shores are shallows and crescent shaped with section of cane thickets, sourrounded by green hills, cultivated to vineyards and olive trees, with plots of land destined to rural take-overs.
